Ruth4Kids Foundation, Inc. is a social impact non-profit organization that seeks to build & uplift teen girls and empower them by increasing their knowledge and skills in STEAM.

Mission

To restructure the developed website to clearly communicate the organization’s mission and transform it into a user-friendly resource that allowed for easier management, increase donor engagement, and manage membership.

Outcome

A simplified message and placement of calls‑to‑action for members to join and for donors on the homepage to make it easy for visitors to find.

Impact

An increase in online donations resulting in successful fundraising campaigns, along with a platform set up for self-management of events & email campaigns.

In January of 2020, Ruth4Kids launched their rebrand and name change to the Be-Ruth Foundation. This rebrand prompted a new website design for their new programming, and we had the pleasure of helping them through this process as well. View our case study on this new project.

HOMEPAGE REDESIGN

Visitors struggled with identifying what Ruth4Kids programming was actually about. Our goal with the homepage was to clarify the mission without users having to dig for answers and allow quicker conversions with calls‑to‑action. This was achieved with 3 key elements:

1 Applied single hero image (removed carousel) and simplified mission statement.

2 Added “Donate” call-to-action button to the top menu that leads directly to donation page.

3 Introduced calls‑to‑action beneath mission statement for both becoming a member and becoming a sponsor.

Optimized the entire site for mobile users to engage. The redesign of the Programs page clearly identifies to both future members and donors the different programming that is available to youth.
